Don’t forget that it’s the ‘Singing for Fun Day’ this Saturday. If you haven’t booked your place there’s still time, contact Donna direct or through this website.

Last night Amy Teague took the rehearsal as Donna was poorly. We did have fun! Mind you that doesn’t mean we didn’t work hard; Summer Holiday, My Favourite Things, All You Need is Love after some tricky warm up exercises. At the end a lovely four part round of ‘When the Saints…’

The vibrant pink flowering cherry blossom has all but finished now in the church grounds, and as this is my first spring in Whitchurch I’m eager to see what’s next to blossom. Everything is a few weeks later than I’m used to having arrived here from the south west.

‘Rain-drops on ros-es and whisk-ers on kit-tens

bright cop-per ket-tles and warm wool-en mit-tens…’
