Learning ‘All You Need is Love’, ‘love, love, love’… all you need is love… and ‘Wonderful World’ and ‘You are my Sunshine’. Personally of these the last is my favourite, we used to sing this to our children when they were little.

donnas bike1Donna told us about her 100 mile fundraising event for the Shropshire M. E. Group – she will be cycling the Mercian Way on 19, 20 and 20th June and invited the choir to support her and take sponsorship forms to circulate. There is a blog about this –

smeg logo colours favicon1_1The Shropshire M. E. Group has its own website at where you can find out more about M. E. and what the group does. Donna is their librarian and support group facilitator, and she is also building a resource bank.

For the event we need a venue for the finishing line in Whitchurch, somewhere for family, friends and supporters – and the choir? – to congregate and cheer Donna on as she completes this challenge. Do you have a large garden, or a club you belong to, a pub perhaps that would be willing to host this and provide facilities and get some free publicity? Let Lizzie know if you do.

Don’t forget to look at some of the photographs in the previous post below taken by Tony Tinsley of the choir in rehearsal. More of these and the photographs taken by Philip Walker will be on the Photo Album page over the next few days as I add them.
