Community Choir in Whitchurch, Shropshire U.K.

Rehearsal November 10th

We ran through the medley for Friday’s concert a few times, with particular attention to ‘Saints go marching in’ of which we’re only doing verses 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 9, and singing quietly ‘Stay’ at the end of My funny valentine. We need to remember to sing the ‘t’s on the end of some words and when sopranos begin ‘June is bustin out all over’ it has to be loud.

There’s a request for any choir members who can to join Donna at the Animals in War Remembrance Service at Dearnford Lake this Sunday 16th November and to be there for 11am; the service starts at 11.45.

The village of Marbury would like some choir members to perform at their seasonal celebrations on 6th December, 7.30 in the village hall.
